I get my gears back tomorrow! FINALLY. Now I just have to put the chunks back in and new bearings and seals and I will be back on the road again. Lets hope it goes together better then it came apart...

Cant wait till see how it drives with the 4.56s and the locker compared to the 3.70s w/33s...

Congrats, Jason. Be sure and post some pics of the reassembly process so we can drool over your new bling!

Make sure you get the same ratio in each pumpkin.

it will be way different. if you use it on the highway, you'll hate it, but off road it rocks. i ran 4.56s for moab a couple of years ago...took them out as soon as i got home cause it was too low. i run 4.11's with 33's now and am happy.

My original thinking was I didnt have the money for a lift and gears. So I did a low buck lift and got gears and a locker first. I thought the 4.56s may be a bit steep on the highway with only 33s but I was thinking ahead. My goal is to get up to 35s on the rig, so I thought if I got 4.10s now it would be fine but might not be enough for 35s.

I know that last Pronghorn season there was some STEEP but easy roads that me and my daughter would have to go into 4Low to handle which was kind of embarassing. So I hope to have my power band back where it should be.
