I have my transmission out fixing a leak and noticed the woodruff key indicated below is missing.
Can anybody tell me what size it should be so I can get a replacment?
Thanks to John Smith for the picture I blatently stole from his toybox install web page.

Still looking. I measured the key way at just under .125" which I think is about 3mm.
The flat on the shaft is about .825" or 21mm.
But I dont see a DIN key that size anywhere on the interweb.

If you grind the ridges off a quarter, cut it in half with a cutting wheel, and buff everything up with the wire wheel it makes a passable woodruff key for this application.

I am now a dreaded, PO. :grinpimp:

Sorry I'm no help, but interesting post....a quarter, eh?

Yeah. A quarter.
The key realy dosen't have any force on it, it just retains the reverse gear shaft in position.
