went to the City PD auction today. I was honestly thinking my daughter needed a new bike. We left with a Gary Fisher for me ($45), a nice Raleigh for my wife ($45), a Gary Fisher Tyro for my daughter ($20), and a Razor scooter for $1 for my oldest son.

The GF Tyro looks like new, the Razor took some adjusting, the Raleigh seems pretty tight, but the GF for me needs some TLC. Dropped the Raleigh and GF off at the local bike shop for a tune.

It just got a 25$ tune and a new front brake assy. Evidently that's all it needed. GF model? I don't know. It's a hardtail. I'm not big into bike riding, I just thought this was a great opportunity to pick one up cheap.

I know GF stands for G. Fisher, but GF could be taken way out of context also (Search for a cheap hardtail)..Lol..

Point taken. Thanks!! I got a call a little while ago. It's done. I'll plan to pick it up tomorrow and get pics for you guys. Honestly, I was shocked a Gary Fisher went for only $45, when a rideable Trek went for $180 and a Cannondale in good shape went for $200.

You better take care of those GF's! Trek has eliminated the brand and absorbed it into thier line. They are going to become like the 9422's, everyone is worth a mint!
