wiper problems

hey guys,

im having problems with my windshield wipers in 98 LX470. the wipers keep skipping. i replaced them a couple of months ago with PIAA super silicone, which were expensive, and they skipped too. Then i replaced them with bosch excel and they worked ok for a week and now they skip too. if i use rainx, the wipers work fine, but I don't want to have to rainx my windhsield everytime. what do you think the problem is?

Try spot-X or somthing like it.

yeah but that sounds like a temporary solution. do you have any ideas on how to permanently fix the problem? i.e. a specific brand of wiper blades or whether i should revert back to the OEM ones?

x2. Give the spot-x or Bon Ami a try first. The skipping could be caused by a gummy residue on your windshield.

do the Spot X but I would also sudjest going back to the OEM inserts/blades
