Looking to buy a windshield washer nozzle for my 1978 FJ40. I believe any FJ40 hood-mounted washer nozzle from 1977 - 1984 will work.

I bought this washer nozzel for my 78 FJ40 but it does not appear to fit on my hood. My hood only has one slot for the metal clips to slide in and this washer nozzel has two. Any advice?

I installed this part # in a 1976 FJ55 hood that had only one slot for the metal tab

i inserted the new nozzle at a 45 degree angle the , clip side groove being last and it popped right in
