Fellow Cruiser Brothers.

Long story but I have a brand new windshield and I don't know what it fits. It was sold to me as a replacement for my BJ70. When it came time for me to replace the glass the windshield was too big. I checked my friends 60, nope. I checked his 80, very close but still off by 1" in height .
Can someone give me the measurements top corner to top corner. Bottom corner to bottom corner. Height from top to bottom in the middle of the windshield ? Thanks

Really, no one wants to go out to the garage and take a few measurements? Come on guys get up off the couch. Put the remote down, bring the beer with you. Please!

I'm on the road right now, but where did you get the glass? If its the wrong glass, return it:meh:

I replaced the windshield on my HZJ-75 about a year ago, went with Mr Yota glass and gasket, and it wasn't cheap. I poked around at a few aftermarket vendors and I never could get a straight answer if their glass would fit or was for the 70 series.

If nobody gets you the measurements by Tuesday, I'll get them for ya;)

Picked it up from an after market glass company in Calgary when I purchased the 70. They were very customer friendly when I discovered the windshield did not fit. They gave my VISA a credit and said keep the glass as shipping was too expensive. I just don't want to dump it if it fits something down here in the States. If I can find out what it fits I will make someone a killer deal. Still waiting for someone to take 5 minutes with a tape measure!

2003 Toyota Land Cruiser, factory glass. YMMV.

Top, corner to corner, inside rain channels: 52.5"
Bottom, corner to corner, inside rain channels: 62"
Middle, top to bottom including molding: 29.5"

4Peanut, THANKS! My actual glass is 48 1/2 across top. 58 1/2 across bottom. 27 1/2 top to bottom. I wonder if the gasket takes up the rest ? Now I need to find a 100 series local and just put the glass up to it.

Cheers!
