My '97 LC's windshield needs replacement and I need to find a shop that will do it correctly as per FSM. Winter is just about here and I really don't want to deal w/ any leaks due to poor/incorrect installation. So, anyone had their WS replaced recently?:)

I have always had my windshields break during times when I had no money, I would have to find the cheapest place and go with them. Some like speedy glass come to my house which is nice. I will say I have had no complaints about any of the installs and never seen damage or had any leaks but you will regret the quality of glass you get, its just terrible! its one place you my decide to go oem if possible, or somewhere with reputable glass.

Take the FSM pages with you. I had a shop to mine out of Toledo when I worked down in Chehalis, and they argued the sealant, told me it wasn't factory, I sent them the video of water poring in at the corners as I drove down I-5. Make them use a Toyota Gasket, shouldn't be more than $65 for the gasket if I remember correctly. If It's more than that, let me know and I'll get one for you (have to double check the price). In Olympia I use Auto Glass Professionals (Glass Pro). Windshield installed with new gasket should be under $260.
