Hello all,

I have been here online since Oct and slowly building up my 2003 100 series. Lots of little things so far Exhaust, Shocks, Etc... I am having some windshield issues and looking for a shop on the coast here in NC. I live up in Emerald Isle. The current one has no leaks but I know it is a replacement. I just dealt with a temp fix for the self taping screws that were installed vs the rivets but I also have a chip/crack from a winter road trip. I figure this is a good time to get it dealt with. I saw a bunch of recommendations here in Raleigh and I could make do it there but figured someone might have had a good experience in Wilmington or Jacksonville...

Also should i buy the seals and needed parts from Toyota prior to doing this and hand them the parts or does it depend on the shop? If yes does anyone have a list of parts I could use to order?

When we did an insurance glass claim on my wife's 80 back a few years ago, I insisted with the glass company to use Toyota OE seal. My insurer agreed to the cost and Safelite brought the seal with them. I confirmed it was in a Toyota bag :D

Good luck. BTW, my inlaws are in MHC and we get down there quite often. I'll be fishing in the Big Rock in a couple of weeks - you should swing by the Yacht Basin one evening that week and introduce yourself. I fish on the Ava D.

@mtweller Hey! Thanks much! I appreciate the information.. I will definitely do that. I keep my boat over at Homers Point on the island and we usually head up that way and watch you guys coming in. I told my daughter we would go down for the weigh in's this year so stopping by should be easy.
