I just bought a 100 Cruiser over the weekend and found out after our little snow today that the windshield is leaking at part of the seal. Can anyone recommend a good glass shop to take it out, put in a new gasket and put it all back together? I've read that these windshields are more complicated than most.

No experience in the last 10 years but I've had Professional in Rio Rancho recommended to me by a body shop....

Other than that I'd stay away from American or All American? They cut a windsheild too short for the FJ40 but to be fair that was 10 years ago...not even sure if they are still around (central and Juan Tabo area if I remember right)

Congrats on purchasing the Hundy! I've used Horizon auto glass in the past for a Mercedes and a Subaru SVX. The guy who came to the house in Tijeras was knowledgeable and explained things to me while he was working.

I'd highly recommend that you get a new windshield molding/seal from American Toyota with our club discount. OEM is the best in this case.

Thanks for the advice, I'll get the parts from Toyota and check out windshield wizard.

Yup, pics or it didn't happen! Give us the scoop on you and the Hundy. Hope to meet you at our next HDC xmas party.

2007 with 96k miles, corporate vehicle for first part of its life then a private owner last 4 years. All Texas truck so no rust at all. Interior is perfect, timing belt and wp just done. It was a knife fight to get it...had to fend everyone off when I bought it in Austin. CV boot is leaking and of course the windshield as well but everything else appears in good shape.

I'm a military guy, been in Abq for almost three years now. I live in the SE side of town. My wife and our German Shepard love to get outdoors every chance we get.

Good luck with the selling your GX, those are nice rides. There's another member here who has a nice GX but he's not very fond of that rear tailgate though!

Went w/ Horizon Autoglass because David never called me back. The Lexus dealer in town here uses (or use to) them to do their windshields and they seemed well versed on the rivets etc. Anyway, it turned out great and no more leak as of now. Highly recommend them!
