Wind River range in August

So a group of cruiser guys i know are considering wy or ID in aug for the eclipses. They contacted me about ideas of places to see it and then go wheeling. I suggested. The Winds for wheeling. If they come to this area i will be on their schedual. But if they dont come i am planning on makimg my own little trip to go wheeling. It will probably be week days. Probably wed- sat. I am thinking souther Wind River range near Lander. Two tails look good,Shoshone lake and Christine lake. As it gets closer i will have some real dates and itinerary. I might be able to het sunday off and make it more of a weekend trip. But that will be tricky. It would be great To have a few of you guys along if we can make it happen.

I know it is a long drive for you guys. If it is only a few of you guys and you dont mind sleeping on the floor i might be able to let some people stay at my place in yellowstone on the way in or way home to break up the drive. Just a idea.

On another note. I am serioisly considering the Black Hills Cruiser Classic. That runs wed-sat in july. I will be in Bizeman that Tuesday. Night dropping the wife off at the airport. I have that wed thurs fri sat already off. Almost too perfect. I could drop the wife off and drive a few hours that night. Arive wed around noon. I could drive home sat or see if i can get sun off it would be PERFECT! I just dont want to piss of work trying to swap to many shifts.

I know it is a lot of different plans. But it would also be a cool event to have 406 show up at.
