Same winch is on sale at Amazon for $50 less than at Summit....
No shipping cost at summit though.
Is this a decent winch?
Donno MUCH about them, but had been passively looking over the past several years.

Likewise at Amazon. I have no idea if this is a good winch. Just noting that a bit of price shopping might save a few $$$.
I've been considering winches for my FJ. Personally, I'd be more likely to go for something with a bit more pull (like 9.5k instead of 8.5k) and synthetic rope to cut down on the weight some. But adding a winch would push me onto that really slippery slope: new bumper for winch (like a metal tech tube), some adjustable coil-overs up front to deal with the nose dive and give a bit of lift. And the lift would give me clearance for some real skids and some 33"s or better tires....

I should add that I'm not succeeding in this effort.
Cruise the blue forum for used gear/armor. I've seen that MT bumper show up for about $600 a couple times.
dont you have to pay tax on either because there is an amazon warehouse in ferntucky? i have known a few people with super winches and havent heard any problems with them??
