Had to use my winch the other day on my hzj77. It's a factory toyota 24v winch to pull out my friends Chevy 2500 , which it did no problem, well sort of, what it did was the cable jumped the spool and got stuck in between the motor and spool. after cutting the cable free and 3hours of work I thought everything was going to be ok, not fun at -30 it was a cold and long night. The next day while changeing my oil and doing the brakes I saw Transmision fluid leeaking from the winch, I probably blew the seal or something when the cable got jammed. Has anyone pulled one apart or rebuilt one. or know where I can find a manual to do so.
