I have been looking for some time now for a winch. I was looking on Winch Depot website and saw they had this 10,000lb winch with built in compressor for $750.00. I was going to also do OBA. What do yall think of this winch and will it fit into my ABR?

I found mine on Craigslist I think. No I actually found it on MUD.

Why not the 8000? That 218 ratio is going to be SLOW, not that 172:1 on the 8 isn't but 218 will be even worse. An 8000 should be all a 60 needs. You can always use a pulley, which I recommend for all pulls anyway.

Use the $100 savings to buy you a recovery kit.

If I were to buy a Warn I like this one for ARB bumpers as it is about the closest you can get to an 8274 since you can't fit an upright in there.

Anything less in my opinion, and I would just stick with the Smittys.

I just saw the actual winch you were talking about, as I thought it was just the standard 10k Smitty for $400. I actually like this setup if you don't want to carry a CO2 tank. The winch seems pretty strong with a LOT better ratio than the $400 budget variety they offer.

I would be sure that it would fit though. I think the ARB has a top plate that will get in the way.

I may have a line on a xd9000i. I did a search and it will need spacers to fit. I will post pics if I get it or I will continue my search.

I didn't think an integrated winch would fit in an arb! I have been wrong a time or two though!

You have to rotate it where the "housing" on top of the winch is setting towards the radiator and install spacers.

I picked up a few things for the 80 this weekend. I got a PUMA 12v air compressor that Im going to mount in the back and Warn M10000 that I got for an awsome price. I will post pics when I get them in. Now the search is on for a lift.
