Winch help

So the new solenoids are in, lots of clicking now when I hit the
switch but the motor doesn't turn. I am getting sparks from the
positive cable at the battery when ever the switch is on. (yes its a tight connection)
Totally baffled now.
A short somewhere?
Winch is off the truck right now and apart.
I'll take the motor in to town tomorrow and see if I can get it tested somewhere.

Motor turned out to be fine, my buddies at the autoparts store sent me to
an electric motor shop. Couple of old guys (70's) one in a wheel chair working away.
Tested it, showed me how to do it, didn't charge, made a few suggestions and sent me on my way.
Took all the wiring apart and carefully put it back together.
Works fine.
I'm pumped! (but I'm still going to win the raffle!)
