Only two problems:
1) it is electric and would drain the 12v battery or require a dual battery setup.
2) it doesn't solve the issue of smashing fingers in the mechanism/line.

This is the hand winch I bought from Northern Tool. I just need to spend a few hours making a housing around it. By the way, one of his trucks (now he has 3) has front and rear tow points. :)

Does that even work???

Dual battery setup .... what a great idea :D

Dual 12 volts not only will run your winch but also increase the speed on the little gator, my dad did this on my bigfoot and Heep when I was a youngster.

I will probably have to buy the peg perego winch. Looks much safer than the boat winch I picked up and it is functional. It has a hand crank on the left side with some sort of rope line.

Of the now three trucks, he has chosen the camo truck for wheeling. He wanted the tow points added to that one and wants the winch on it too. We'll probably be bringing it out to URE in September. Now we have three batteries... :)

I would think you could take some bicycle tires and screw them into the plastic wheels. Then you would have rubber and the traction of the screw heads. But then he would be strictly off-road. But the lil-guy has plenty of cars to chose from for each occasion it sounds.

This is awesome...when I have kid(s) (if ever....for another discussion )...I will follow Big/Boss Clint's lead and build a pimp @ss kid wheeler.

BTW - we need pics of all trucks and said favorite truck :grinpimp:.

Clint I can get you some retread rubber from our plant

How big are these tires???? I might be able to get some actual small tires for cheap that will work on them.

I've seen on some boards (yes boards dedicated to modding power wheels) that the 13" Habor freight wheels will work on them. But, due to the fact that they'll have more traction, they'll burn up the gear box faster since the wheels won't spin...

And then you get stronger gears :meh:
