Their lot appears to be dwindling, and the last few times I’ve driven past the windows have been boarded over. Have they moved to Scappoose or St Helens already?

moving has been a slow process in the works and happening for a while.

if you need help and have josh’s cell contact him that way. at some point that shop on willamette blvd will be gone. he might take on work for a customer but only if it’s worth it.

poor guy. he’s tired of having to defend the shop from zombies.

Yeah, I don't blame him— the shop is right at the start of the cut where there's heavy criminal activity. I had heard they were moving up 30 a bit but don't have other social media to catch an update. crossing fingers that I don't need any shop work anytime soon.

Does anyone have Josh contact info? I live down the street and see his dad on occasion but never seem to catch him. Interested in possibly renting the shop... any help would be appreciated

Hi Team,

I'm in the Portland Metro area. I have a 97 Triple-Locked LC that I suspect may need a new head gasket. I don't have time to wrench on it myself. Any recommendations on where to take the girl?

Thank!

Muddy1 (Rob)

Tim out at Land Cruiser specialties can take care of you. If the two mentioned shops are crazy busy I could take a look at it with you. We could do a hydrocarbons test to see if any exhaust is leaking into the coolant system and do a compression test to see how healthy the engine is.

It is consuming coolant. Over 500 miles it consumed 1 gallon. I don't see any leaks on the ground. I don't any milky mix on the oil dipstick. No bubbles in the radiator. It sometimes blows a little bit of white smoke. Runs normally otherwise. I suspect either small leak while running, or it's burning small amounts of coolant while running.

That is super kind of you to offer to look at my rig. I spoke to Tim and he has kindly agreed to take a look at it, although it is clear he is super booked.

Thank you so much for your kind offer. I will wait to see what Tim has to say.

Glad to hear Tim will get you sorted out.
