Will this 3-Link kit work on my BJ73?

I have been wanting to go linked with coils or coilovers on the front of my BJ73 for a while. Do you guys think this kit can also work on my BJ73? My BJ doesn’t look too different from the Toyota SFA pickup in the front:

You're asking the wrong question....
This is a kit to be installed by a metal fabricator. These are not bolt on kits made to fit... they are weld on kits, intended to be fit by the fabricator. The question is not 'Will it fit?' The question is "Can you (or your fabricator, if this is not you) make it fit?" Do you have the time, tools, skills, and facilities to do this project. These types of things ALWAYS require a little (actually, a lot) clearance here and there to make them work.

For example, this kit shows the pan-hard mounted for a Left hand drive... which puts the axle mount on the differential. If your truck is RHD, this will need to be reverse, and the axle mount will be on the tube section of the axle, and the mount in the kit is not really designed for tube mounting, and may need to be modified to get a nice flat pan hard bar angle. Can YOU make that fit?

Thanks. Exactly the kind of advice I am looking for. I can weld and fabricate anything metal quite well. Just dont want to spend weeks and months problem solving. Hence looking for a weld on kit that was designed to be relatively in line and ready to weld on. Mine is RHD, so yes, if I have to go that far cutomising this kit, I Might as well hold out and looks elsewhere otherwise it will be just as much trouble as fabbing the whole thing up from scratch.

so yeah. I am just looking for a kit that can be welded in for our vehicles, like this one can be done on a toyota pickup.

thanks for the great feedback!

I don't know of any directed at the 70 series but maybe snoop around what is getting build in AU? There are so many more 70 series trucks there it has to have been done numerous times. As Joe stated above - check out his truck. It's LHD but just mirror it. He made it look easy but I know there is quite a bit of work there. Sounds like you can handle it. Good luck!

Also post pictures when you do it, I might just follow the path you make!

I went goofing around in mine last weekend at Wolf Caves

it all depends on what you want to use the cruiser for , for daily driving I would copy the coil suspension from the light duty cruisers.
