Plan to order the base 4x4 manual with
roof rack, receiver hitch, and, here is where it gets confusing ...the toyota web page shows the rear locker as an option avail for the 4x4 auto and the 2x4, but not for the 4x4 manual. Is that an error or does it come standard with the 4X4?

Any other must haves I am over looking?

I won't keep the stock steel wheels long as thay will be swapped w/16" black steelies. I'll put after market skids & rockers on latter and plan to do the $60 A Track switch as well.

BTW, I am a long time TJ owner and was in the market for an 06 rubicon when I drove my neighbors FJC. For what I need in a DD/sometime off roader the FJC can't be beat.

E lokcer is standard with the 6 sp.
Looks like you have the A Trak taken care of too.

I would forgo the roof rack. You will save $599. Almost sure that later on you will go with an aftermarket roofrack if you are into modding.

thanks for the replies. Thats good news on the e locker. I'll look into after marcket roof racks. My phylosophy is to buy the minimum and build it up from there. The base FJ is perfect for that.

imo i would definetly forgo the roof rack as i was suckered in to it when i bought mine since replaced with a gobi. but if you want i will sell you my stock rack real cheap!
