Will an HZJ 79 snorkle fit a BJ74

Good day,

There is a snorkle for sale locally http://www.kijiji.ca/v-other-auto-p...off/603872758?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true, a take off from an HZJ 79 and I would like to know if it will fit my 1989 BJ74? I assume some mods would be in order to tie it into the filter housing. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply. I guess the biggest area of concern would be how it fit the fender and windshield frame. I've never seen one installed or up close so I don't even know if all the parts are there.

i tried that. it wont fit because the fenders are very different. get the older version instead.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if the fenders were the same. To bad because it is a pretty good price I think.

do you mean hzj79 model post 2007? because all this while I thought pre 2007 hzj79 model with narrow head share the same fender as bj74

yes - the snorkel in question is for a late-model 70s.
