Will a newer front bumper fit on a older 70?

Hello all
I was wondering if a 2007+ front BullBar fit on the older nose . I have access to newer Ironman bull bar but I was wondering if the frame horns are the same ? I know the sheet metal is different but there's not alot of 07 and newer 70s floating around here in NJ .

Well, the bumper from 85-07 on the 70-79 series models are all the same. Post 2007, I'm not sure.

TlCruiserman from West Coast Cruisers put an ARB winch bumper on one of his HZJ-76s which might have been post 2007. ARB only posts the compatiable years up as 85-07

thanks for the link , looks like the mountings the same , just wondering if the sheet metal will interfere or look really poor fitting .

may just have to order the right one and wait till it can come from Aus on a stocking order

Looking at ARB AUS's site, it is a different model number for the post 2007 than the pre-2007 trucks. I don't know what the differences are unfortunately

I've bend the snot out of 2 ARBs on my BJ70 so looking at a Ironman unit and I'm liking the looks of the ironman . The 3rd thing is I can pick the Ironman up at the warehouse so shipping not a problem even if it needs to be ordered from Aus .

Download the fitting manual from Ironman's site and see if there is any difference. It covers all years of bumpers for the 70 series. It may be that the newer ones are airbag compliant or some garbage like that, but still fit the 70 series frame rails

wont fit, sheet metal is different and chassis rails are different spacing. The chassis rails were spread apart to fit the 4.5L TD v8

thanks i was waiting till the guys from down under to wake up and know the skinny on this .
the frame rail thing will be the big "no go" on this .
I'll just order one and wait .

I think the old shape went out of production oct or nov 06,so anything 07- will be the new shape.
I guess they were still selling the old shape in 07
The airbag thing didnt happen until 09 , probably the same time it got the new style dash.

Thanks , now for some other help , I'm unable to find a pix of a Deluxe Commercial Winch Bull Bar fitted on a 06 and older 70 , My googling has not done me well .

Arent the deluxe and commercial bars different bars totally? I have deluxe ARB winch bar from a 02ish model on my 85 and 86 models.

Sorry I'm looking for a Ironman unit pix , From what it looks like is a little bit blinged up plain jane with driving/and marker lights integrated . I'm not liking the look of the triple hoop look of the "Protector" model with the chrome
