I am thinking about buying LED brake lights/running lights for my trailer build. Is there any issues I need to know about putting LED's into the Toyota factory trailer wiring (the standard 4 prong trailer hookup Toyota has??)

I don't know if this is what you're asking, but I installed LED's on our troop's trailer (rear and running). No issues at all. In fact, because of the lower draw of the LED's, I no longer have to unplug the extra set of running lights in my ARB. I was constantly blowing fuses because of the extra running lights in the Kaymar (rear) and ARB (front). Alone with the cruiser the fuse is fine. Plug in the trailer lights on top of the ARB/Kaymar lights and just too much draw for the fuse. LED's on the trailer solved that issue.

No special connections needed for the trailer LED's as I recall. I just connected the wiring as normal for the tail lights and the running lights and I was good to go. They were standard trailer LED's I picked up at Pep Boys.

I've been running LEDs for 7 years with no issues. I love them - filament bulbs are so.... 20th Century.

Glad to be of service. Happiest thing that came out of it was no more blown tail light fuses and no more disconnecting ARB running lights up front before hooking up the trailer!

I'm not sure if I missed your thread or not, but that looks like an awesome trailer... more pics please.

Thanks. Here's are a couple I like:

There are probably some more pics scattered around my website - I drag that trailer everywhere. I'll be exploring the Magruder Road Corridor in the Idaho Panhandle in a couple of weeks and will post more pics after I get back:
