Will 265/70/16 tires work on my stock LJ70?

By far the most popular used tire size in my community here is 265/70/16 due to the ubiquity of new Pajeros and Prados and I have an extra set. I currently have 205/80/16s and what appears to be a stock suspension. Will 265/70/16s fit with no interference? Will they even fit on the wheels? Even if they fit are they going to drive like a pig with the 2L-T?

265/70/16 will fit your stock wheels and should not cause any rubbing but you will feel little lack of power uphills.
