Why photos disappear?

I was just wondering. On some of my threads the photos get replaced with the rex X like the photo got taken down. When I hit edit to see if I can fix the link, the photo is right there. Then I hit save changes but the red X is still there. Any ideas?

I use google photos to save all the pics.

Google photos doesn't work well with direct linking or forums. You'd need to move your photos to another hosting website such as photobucket, imgur, or upload it to the IH8MUD gallery in your own media album.

Or you could just upload them to the forum. Woody made it possible so we wouldn't lose all the photos.

Photo upload to the forum are free and unlimited....and do not get removed.

Link your images from another site? All bets are off....
