Saw it parked in McDonalds in Page, AZ. I pulled in, drove around in awe a few times and then pulled out.

Then it blew my doors off on 191 in Blanding UT. I waved, you honked.

Sweet truck.

That's it, I need to do my T-Bars!

I wanna say Amando's truck, but what do I know...

dunnno, but I like it, what kinda bumper is that?

Fawk if I know. Looks custom to me. I found a pix of this truck on another post, but no name attached. Pretty sick ride.

Yup that's got to be Amando's. Find his custom bumper thread or wherever those pics of that bumper were.

The lights are new, and so are the wheels. Other than that, yep, looks like it.

OK, now I feel like a dumbass. I scrolled back up to see the lights you were referring too and guess what? His screen name is on his license plate!!!

Mystery solved!

Front (Amando's design) and rear bumper (my design) were born in my driveway few months apart last summer. I am a proud Uncle.

He just arrived an hour ago on my driveway from NV & AZ, now packing up and we are leaving for Rubicon tonight at 3:30am.

Cheers,

Beautiful! Have a great time @ Rubicon! Please tell him that I was the guy chuggin' along in the 60 in UT.

what is Amando running for suspension and tires? his 100's looks taller than mine by a ways......me wants to get bigger :D

I just got back from Rubicon...Amando and I left our group early and drove out last night. His 100 spanked Rubicon, absolutley amazing. I'd post pics but I was trail leader and my camera never left the case. We also had a 2nd gen 4Runner IFS but he took a beating by comparison to the 100. The only damage Amando took that I am aware of was a small trail trophy ding on the bottom of his DS rear wheel well and a beat up fuel tank.

AFAIK, this was the first 100 to ever make it through the Con. This boy has some major Kahona's :D

Toyota Series 40, 60, 80 and now finally 100 to go thru the Rubicon Trail.

I was riding with Amando, drinking coffee without spilling, (ok, some drops and thank god, it is not too hot).

Brett's superb black 1985 truck at the left at Observation Point.

Here are the photos:

Cheers,

Ha! One thing I didn't miss was the skank-hole subway.

Nice Moab pix posted up here too.

Mac,

You lost? Driving a 60 through UT? WTF? Aren't you supposed to be riding the subway;)

Amando did awesome. To my knowledge it's the first 100 series to do the Rubicon. Not just in to the springs from Tahoe. But the whole thing from Loon Lake to Tahoma. Including a little side trip.
Congrats Amando, your 100 series rules.

Alvaro
