Who's going to Cruise Moab 2004?

I will be there in spirit.
I do plan to attend CM05, though. And this time I plan to bring my Cruiser
instead of my Heep. :D

I went to CM03 and had a blast. A few participants even chose to overlook
the fact that I came in a Heep and talked to me. :)
Actually, everyone I met there was really cool.
Only showed up for Sat/Sun due to lack of time. Plan for a 7 hour drive
minimum.
There should be plenty of lodging there. It may be pricey, but I know I saw
a few hotels and motels.
The scenery alone is worth the drive. And seeing every manner of 4x4 from
stock Heeps and Exploreres to custom built rock buggies running up and
down the main drag is a spectacle all by itself. Probably the only place in
the US where modified rigs outnumber cars. :D
If you haven't signed up already, you may be SOL. I think I remember
hearing that registration was closed, but contact Rising Sun anyway, and
see if you can squeak in.

Is lodging still available or just camping?

Lodging definetely available. My wife'll drive `her' 80 up anything, and often drives all the way on Poison Spider, Fins & Things, etc. But she will NOT camp! Which is always the big $ hit to the wallet.

Have you ever been to Cruise Moab before?

3 times I think? This year I'm attending as the `renegade' as with my son young I can't really do the trails, and I've done them all for the most part either in my own Cruiser or someone elses. It's just a lot of fun taking the unsponsored trails out to the middle of deserted canyons. Grabbing some iced tea, playing in the fine beach-like sand.

I also like hanging out with other Cruiser enthusiasts for a little while.

I have always wanted to go.........

A lot of people do go and renegade it like I'll have to do this year. My little brother will be there with his Cruiser hitting some hard trails so I'll gun alongside him.

I have been to Moab a couple of time but never when there was an event. I just want to see cool Cruisers and watch dumb people trying things that the are not set up for.
Are vendors set up somewhere in town?
Any night time group activities?

I'll check out the site and not ask so many questions

The best time to watch dumb people is Easter Jeep Safari this weekend. I highly recommend going. You will definetely have to camp, no lodging available. There you will CERTAINLY see stupid people with stupid (and cool) rigs doing stupid things. We used to go park up atop a sand dune near the Dump Bump, drop the tailgate on the 80, pull out some non-3.2 beer and just sit and watch the craziness all day, soak up some sun, et al.

As per CM2004, most night time activities are centered around the CM2004 camp and are mild to say the most. The only vendors are generally Denver locals like Sleeoffroad.

I'll be the green FZJ80 with a 1/4λ CB antenna on the bull bar still with Colorado plates on it and a 1st Generation Slee carrier in the rear. If anyone's going please stop by and say hi.

I will be there as well (as 3fj40 said above). Tuesday night I get to stay up LATE and put in my new ARB F&R and 4.88'ed 3rd members fresh back from Avalanche Engineering. Then I get to wire everything up, repack/replace wheel bearings, king bearings, re-pack birfs, all new seals/gasgets and then work :-[ for about 14 hours before I take out to Moab. Its only a 2.5 hr trip for me though....
We'll be camping at slickrock, its a very neat place to camp; mtn biking, general views and access to town/bathrooms is pretty good.
