Which solid front axel comes in the 205 series, and how is the steering set up?

Example:

AFAIK 200 didn’t have a solid front axle option.
Old enough now there have probably been some refits and home brews made.

Likewise, I'm not aware of a SFA factory 200-series. The believe the international 105 was the last version to receive one. Wonder if they grafted in that axle? For the degree of effort, portals may be more game changing?

That said, I wonder if there's any real benefit to a homebrewed SFA on a 200? The IFS has arguably proven it's grit. Rarely hear of any outright failures. Short of CV issues but I'd chalk that down to bad modification or alignment putting it into bad angles.

Monica running 37s, gives me confidence that the 200-series IFS is practically bomb proof.

I suppose it’s possible that image is a mirror of the original, but the diff pumpkin isn’t even on the correct side.

Toyota doesn’t make a solid axle with the magnetic speed sensor that the 200/Tacomas/FJs use

Must have been an axle swap. Fairly sure Toyota didn't make a SFA 200, nor is there any such thing as a 205.

Axle and transfer case swap unless the image is mirrored.

I'd be curious to know where the image is coming from? Looks like a frame grab of a video?
