Which hose is the return on this PS res.???

I have a 2004 LC and with all of this Power Steering flush talk I want to do mine. Which one of these two lines is the return? I assume the smaller one that is higher up on the reservoir?

Top hose is the return back into the reservoir, bottom is the feed to the pump.
