Found this online stating to use 85w90 oil for the differentials. Would 75w90 work instead for front and rear diffs? It’s much easier to find where I’m from.

I don’t know, did they even have 75w90 or 74w140 when the truck was built? Both of those are better than 85w90. As long as the fluid of your choice meets or exceeds API GL5, you're golden. It’s like arguing for a 15w-40 over a 5w-40. Wasn’t much available when it came out, but better in every regard. You’ll be fine.
