Hey Jim and Karl has anyone heard from George since he moved? Was wondering if he followed the board or not. Wonder if he ever got his FJ45 done and back from Vegas???

This wouldn't be someone that lives up around Wooster, would it? I bought a load of parts off of a kid up in that area over the summer. Most of it was stuff that he got from a guy that had a 40 and a 45. He told me that the 45 was sent out west to be fitted with a small block, get painted, etc.. I still have some of those parts. Some went to others on this board. The thread with the parts pictures is still on here..probably a few pages back now.

Haven't heard from George since right after he moved.

elkRiver, that sounds like George's FJ45 that went out to BTB to be seriously built:
Chevy Blazer engine, tranny, steering, axles, AC, PDB, etc.

Mighta had a Cruiser t-case...

The kid (well, not really a kid...young guy, I guess) I got the parts from said that he helped him pull a nicely running 2F from the 45, and then he just gave him (kid) the engine for the help. They pushed it up on the flatbed, engineless, and sent it on its way. This young guy was moving to Oregon, so he sold everything he had (most of it collected from George, obviously).

Found the thread where I listed this stuff....and I STILL haven't sold my house. Damn Columbus housing market.
