If I accidentally left my sunroof with a tiny crack in the rain, will the water drain or go directly in the car?

I left my truck in an airport parking lot and am now fearing I may have bumped the sunroof switch and cracked it a little.

Is there a built in drain? I have not studied the setup up there yet.

The 80 punishes you for bonehead moves like that and funnels the water right on to the ECU.:D

Actually, there are 4 drains and I'll bet you are OK.

Dude,

You are par-a-noid! (Like me. :D )

Tell ya what: PM me, tell me where your house is so's I can get your spare key, and I'll go, uh, check it out for ya! ;p

Do you think you locked your house? Nah, I'm sure you did...

:whoops:

Yeah, apparently the design goal was not to design a sunroof that seals perfectly, always, but to design a sunroof that drains any water in a deliberate, controlled way.
At least that's the way I understand it.
I'm pretty certain that water moves through the sunroof drains even when it's completely closed.

More specific to your question, I left my sunroof up (not open) and the sliding interior screen mostly closed during a rainstorm. Water DID get into the truck, but it was all caught by the interior screen (doh!). No damage that I could see.
