Can anyone steer me to a area in the norhtwest valley to take my rig on her madien voyage? I live almost out by Lake Pleasant in very North West Peoria. Looking for a place to go play with my two younger sons. Mind you I have 33"s but no lift, or sliders and a center diff lock only. And no wheeling skills.

my first run in was table mesa up your way, real mellow scenic little drive. but there are
much more knowledgeable folks than i on here who will hopefully be able to help you out..
 
Castle Hot Springs Road, out west of Lake Pleasant. You could probably run up to Crown King, although I haven't been out there since it rained last. When did you want to go? I might be able to go out tomorrow if you want a second truck along (which is a good idea, to say the least). Depends on when you get back to me.

Man I wish I could go on weekends. My workweek starts on Friday night. In fact its 700 am am i just going to bed. I have to get off in advance to run on a sat or sun. Hopefully I can hook up with you guys next Friday to find out when you guys are going out next. I'll be the one standing around like the new kid on the block.

well i would have called you spike except i was informed early this morning
that the wife's volvo is taki'n a cr*p again. that car must die before it kills me!

Crown King? That's pretty mellow. Almost too mellow, but fudge is a great motivator for me. :D

Are you guys going to Crown King this weekend? I might be able to make Sat work. If so when and how long does it take. Would my stock 92 make it? ( I feel kinda like the lil brother whos wants to tag a long..) My prob is i have 33" with no lift. Not sure if clearance wil be an issue.
 
I don't think you'd have a problem with Crown King, unless it has changed drastically since I last ran it. When on Saturday would you like to go? Got a meeting place in mind, since you live out that way? We usually meet at the intersection of Carefree Highway and I-17, but if there's only 2 or 3 trucks we could meet out near you.

OK, I'll go to Sonic. I'll suggest meeting where Carefree Highway meets (turns into) Lake Pleasant Road at 9 AM. I'll be there unless I hear otherwise. Fill your tank before you go to the meet, I don't think there's any gas beyond there.

well since fiveo isn't free till around noon we need a shorter run than CK.
if that works then soaztim sounds like he's in as well. (my little guy is
only a year and a half old so shorter works better for me) let's hash out
a plan b in the morning...
 
OK, I'm out then. I'll get some more work done around the house. We need to get these things planned a lot earlier.
