Where to get parts

Hi all,

Having trouble finding a lot of parts that I need for my 45 here in oz. We seem to have a lot of the major items, but not the finishing off parts.
(vendors take note, more then happy to help sell your products down under, there sure is a market!!)
Was looking at a few of your American places like CCOT etc.
Any recommendations?
Have emailed a couple of places to see if they post to Aust, but have had no replies.

I need,
Pad and hook thing that goes on bonnet to hold windscreen down
Various gaskets for hood hinges, door hinges, wiper motor cover, kick vents
4 speed shifter knob with decal
Ute roof gasket
Gasket that goes between top and bottom rear cab panels.

Also struggling to find original type door trims, all I find are stuffed or have got big speaker holes cut in them.
Willing to swap a good headache rack if anyone has any of the above they can send...

other than that, there is another place in Vic that could help, they have an add in 4WD action mag. They restore 40's.

Did you try getting the part number and going to a Toyota dealer?

Dave what your looking for can be found the problem is shipping I found a bezzel for a guy and the price was right the problem was it was going to cost over 125.00 to ship it. I woul do as 1 Ton suggested try going thru your dealer first Good Luck

Yeh, exhausted all local suppliers for the little fiddly parts. They have helped me on some parts though.

Toyota dealers are useless down here. (I worked at one for a long time). Seems looking up parts for a vehicle made more then 10 years ago is just too hard. Went into the big dealer here armed with a Part No. Didnt exist. Asked me what it was for, I said 'HJ45', he said, 'nah mate cant get anything for them old things anymore'. I walked out....

i have a brand new 4 speed shifter knob and the gaskets that go either side of the top and bottom of the rear cab but i dont have the centre. problem is i live on the gold coast which is a fair distance from you. i am chasing a headache rack but not sure what shipping would be like. maybe we can ake a deal
