Does anyone know where I can find a left hand drive 70 I really like the 70 body style but, drove a HILUX that was right hand drive here in the states it is a real pain in the @$$ Thanks for the future input

The Middle East....

Canada. BJ70 and some mine trucks.

South America had LHD's too.

Colby has one......check the classified ....hes out in the Big Bend don't you know.....

There's an RJ70 at the wreckers about a mile from where I am in Guatemala City. Still mostly complete with very little damage AND left hand drive!

I think there are title issues with it otherwise my kid would have been all over it!

Why not Denmark, Sweden or Norway. Depending on model there are always some for sale and usually the prices are in line with or lower than Germany.

This one is quite expensive but also well equipped.

Finding them is easy ,but then what?? You just cant put it on a ship to the US and start driving it:rolleyes:

The question was "where to find", not "how to import and legalize".
Hey, we tried to help, nothing more.

Yeah I can read, but its no use getting someone hopes up and then telling them the full story later:rolleyes:

If you come to my house and bring me $2000 cash and don't ask me to help you import it and are absolutely thrilled to take it in spite of its 600,000km and associated dysfunction, I'll sell you this one.

What is the "associated dysfunction"? My kid is interested.

All the stuff you'd expect.

Body rust (frame is fine)
Totally worn suspension bushings
Tranny jumps out of fifth occasionally
EDIC controller shot
Windshield has 20 years worth of stone chips
DS window regulator shot
20 lbs of dog hair
A number of coolant leaks
Alternator brushes have intermittent connectivity.
PS windshield wiper missing.
Suspension seats need a refurb. They only damp the initial entry to the truck of my 220 lb butt. No suspension thereafter.

Runs and drives fine and I have no concerns driving it long distances.

Is this your RS rig again this year? Sometime I'm going to have to get a diesel myself.

I'm trying to find out body tub compatibility. I have a lead on a good tub that would go nicely with this truck IF the tubs are compatible.
