So I read through a bunch of leather threads and it seems that the whole seat is not leather. I have some lexol cleaner and conditioner that I would like to use on the seats. Question is should I use on the whole seat or just the leather parts, and specifically which are just the leather parts? Will it negatively impact the non-leather parts? Thanks for any advice, don't want to mess the seats up.

I put it on everything brown and it works fine. We have the Terra colored seats.

Mine are black. I got impatient and plastered it all over everything, drank a beer, then went over it with a dry rag. I was worried about color change on any pleather that might be, but that didn't happen. Steering wheel is even more grippy now. I found it to be slick and hard for one handed turns compared to the 4runner wheel.

Bend over and I’ll show you. Sorry, I couldn’t help myself. 🤣

My hint with Lexol is to follow the directions. I'm not usually the instruction-following type (except for bolt torque values) but with Lexol it makes a big difference to use it according the directions.

I used chemical guys leather conditioner but I put it on all seat surfaces and had no adverse effects. Anything to prevent the seats from cracking in the dry desert climate here. I do the same on my 20 year old ES300 seats and they still look new.
