Hey guys and gals,

I wanted to take a sec and let everyone know I'm not dead, nor have I sold my 40 or lost interest in LC's. I took a new job on 6/2 and was offered a fantastic opportunity to do a training " bootcamp" if you will, which started 6/16. It will run through mid-September and during that period I will be MIA from ONSC, unfortunately. This class requires around 80-95hrs of my time per week, leaving essentially no time for anything. AS SOON AS I"M DONE, I plan to hit the ground running on my SOA and 465 swap.

I hope everyone has a good summer and these crazy gas prices won't curb ONSC events too much. We all need to be thinking of ways to still have these events and keep them affordable, but I know @$4/gallon, a lot of people (including myself) will have to be really picky about which events they can attend.

Til' September,

Hey Joe. Yeah, I went to work for Cisco at the begining of June. I got the opportunity to join a class that should result in me getting my CCNA and PMP, plus some other trainings. Things are nuts for me, in classes and studying from 7am till around midnight, plus weekends. But....it's only for about 3 months. Hopefully, work will seem like a joke once this is over!

Ramon, that is very cool! And given they have hiring restrictions right now, quite an accomplishment too.

When you get your certs, you'll have to edumacate me on some of the technologies. I really need to learn routing.

Thanks guys. Right now I'm questioning the decision (not really, just venting :) )
