Does anybody know where I can get Bilstein height adjustable shocks 5100 for Land Cruiser200.

I check Bilsteins website lc200 not listed in their product line:rolleyes:

Just curious, why bilstein specifically?

Hello JBHorne

All I want raised the vehicle up (5 cm) as far as i know Bilstein 5100 have different spring seat positions, allowing height adjustments from 0 to 6 cm with factory comfort ride
a local shop he mentioned that Bilstein have shocks for Tundra it mabe fit for Land Cruiser 200.

Has anyone been able to acheive both - comfort ride + height ?

.

Where are you located? Call Radflo...that's what I have now and really like them. I will be posting a review next week. Replaced my old OME and it's a far better ride - night and day difference on and offroad. They have user adjustable height too.

I'd recommend the coilover route as opposed to a simple strut/spring change for increased ride quality.

I live in Dubai.
Do you have coil for the rear too?
would you please give me part Number for the front and real coil

Rears are internal shocks with OME springs. The design of the 200 does not permit rear coilovers nor would you want them.

As for part numbers, call Glenn at Radflo, tell him you talked to me :), and he'll hook you up with the right parts and prices.

By far one of the best cost/performance setups on the market. Like I said, I got rid of the OMEs and will not look back.

I'd also highly recommend getting the total chaos upper control arms. These will allow your alignment to fall back into factory spec.

Beder,

If your not in a real hurry I can order some more on my next Bilstein order. (I'm in Iraq right now working on some TLC's till Monday) all the ones I have right now are for armored versions which Im sure your not going to want on your softskin TLC.

Also I have the rear sway bar, but if you have a VXR I can show you how to modify it to add a sway bar on if you want.

JBHorne, may I know what shocks are u using now? Does it really improve ride comfort (minimize bump and sway)?
And how much are they?

JBHorne is running Radflo front coil overs and rear IFP shocks. He will be able to fill you in on the comfort level etc, but from the feedback so far, the ride is excellent.

Agreed. Glenn did a great job! As Radflo sells these shocks factory-direct, again just call him for part numbers, cost and ordering.

Next week I will be posting a full review and will keep everyone updated on long-term performance, but so far the ride is much better, taller than OME, better launch squat and brake dive, on-road handling, and sway during high speed corners. I have taken them on uneven dirt roads so far and next week will take them out for a spin offroad.

I can't say enough how much I'd recommend the TotalChaos UCA's as well. To top it off I installed the ICON rear lower control rods as well, but don't really believe they add much from a suspension performance perspective. Great product and added protection and adjustment nonetheless!

Check out my review at: https://forum.ih8mud.com/200-series-cruisers/499039-new-radflo-suspension-review.html

I noticed the ride to be improved greatly over the OME, and far better than stock. To each his own, however. I prefer a stiffer ride that feels more controlled when cornering than feeling like I'm driving a couch. I do not notice the height increase affect cornering performance. The increased spring weight and proper tuning more than make up for it. Keep in mind that I am 1.5" over the OME, which probably takes me to 3-3.5" over stock.

Beder, just for your elaboration, Bilstein have a local agent in Dubai too. For shocks, I recently enquired about their B6 offroad performance ride-adjustable front strut 24-214018 :

So these BILSTEIN - 24-214018 will fit LC200 2012.
- It’ll utilize stock coil.
- It’ll provide you with approximately 0”, 0.6” and 1.2” inch of lift.
- 0” setting means original ride height.

Also if you are not interested in ride adjustment, they have front strut Bilstein 24-152921 which is exactly the same model but comes with stock ride height setting (0” setting, not ride height adjustable model).

For better handling, Bilstein suggested to install 24-152938 rear shocks as well.

Prices through Bilstein Saudi Agent: (also available on Amazon US, you ship)
Front - 24-152921 is 890 SR each.
Front- 24-214018 is 1185 SR each.
Rear - 24-152938 is 685 SR each.
