Does anybody know to which appliance the 1,25B AM fusible link connects (see picture)? What does AM mean?

If I look in the Toyota Repair Manual HJ60 nov 1985 I get two different electrical wiring diagrams: on page 1 and on page 6. What is the difference? And I can't find any (yellow) Y1,0 fusible links in my car, only 2x 0,5G and 1x 1,25B and 1x 2,0L; where can I find this one?

I think the wiring diagram on page 1 is for gasoline engines and the one on page 6 for diesel. The fusible links you show in your picture (glow, AM) are not stock. The stock fusible links are associated with the white connector in your picture above the non-stock one. If you follow the three wires that come out of the white connector, they should connect to a green connector. A picture of a fusible link is in this thread: https://forum.ih8mud.com/60-series-wagons/489204-87-fj60-fusible-link.html#post6680976

In the wiring diagram, the letters, G=green, Y=yellow, refer to the color of the insulation on the link. The numbers 0.5 and 0.1 refer to the size of the wire in mm-squared, I think. You can find reference tables on the internet that will show approximately what us gauge wire corresponds to a mm-squared wire size.

My car is a European 1982 HJ60 (diesel).

I can find 4 fusible links 1x 0.5G to headlights & horn (red wire), 1x 0.5G to ignition switch (black wire)(those are in the white connector as in the picture). This corresponds with page 1 in the manual.

And 1x 1,25B going to (?) with a white wire and 1x 2,0L (I replaced this one with the brown 2,0 fusible link in the picture) with a black wire going to the glowplugs. This corresponds to page 6 in the manual. At least it shows a black wire in the manual, but not the white AM one???????

The 2,0L GLOW/1,25B AM seems original, because the colorcode and size of the fusible links correspond. If this would not be original, it would be impossible to find an aftermarket connector with the same sticker on it.

So my car seems a mix of page 1 and page 6 in the manual, without the Y1,0 fusible link.... So could it be that the wiring diagram of 1985 is different from 1982?

I'm a little bit out of my element. Attached as a PDF is a wiring diagram for non-US/non-Canada HJ60 from the 1980 service manual. It shows a total of four fusible links (one is black). But I don't know if all four would come in the same connector or whether it would be split into to. I can try and check my parts program when I get home this evening, but I'm not sure what your question is again???

2mbb, this is fantastic: your wiring diagram answers all my questions. It is the correct version for my car!!

Do you also have the 1980 service manual in digital? Seemingly they changed a few things from 1980 towards 1985....

Thanks, found the 1980 manual. It is not exactly like my car, but it helps a lot!

Hello does anyone know is the white plastic connector (shown on the first picture) for the fusible link wires (2x0,5G) is available somewhere?
Does the connector itself have a part number?
This connector might be common to some other Toyota cars ?
Would like to replace it (if possible) on my 87 HJ61.
