@Drofen Did you happen to check Stockton wheels price vs these? I have heard mostly of people sending their wheels to stockton to get them customized so maybe that is the difference? Maybe they sell new made to order as well? Just curious as I have thought about contacting them.
Thanks
Those look like they are gonna be NICE!
Thanks, I’m pretty excited to see them.

I didn’t check Stockton. I talked with Summit Racing a couple of times. They were supposed to get back with me with some additional info, but never did, even after a couple follow ups. So I started looking around and found Wheelsmith. I’d be interested in hearing what Stockton has to say, if you talk to them?

@Roonie , where did you order these from?
I got them here. From purefjcruiser.com

To answer a few questions. The OEM Toyota Steelies do not need any spacers on a 60. They are narrow (5.5) but will accomidate a 33x10.50, if you can find a tire dealer that will mount them now adays. I of course had my widen by Stockton 15 years ago and still running them to this day so as far as reliability and durability I'd say they are still doing great!

I’m rebuilding an ‘84 FJ60. We put OME 2-3” medium lift in the front and OME 2-3” heavy lift in the rear. I’m thinking I want to run 33x9.5 tires with a 16in wheel, but am concerned with any potential rubbing. I’ve been reading that you have to consider the backspacing/offset with the wheel to avoid TREs and calipers, but even after reading the thread posts about backspacing/offsets, I’m still not confident deciding which width of 16in wheel to look into. Seems like it’s different for every single vehicle and setup…

So I’m hoping someone can give me a straight answer of what they have (hopefully similar to what I’m wanting), if they’ve experienced any rubbing anywhere (either because of the wheel or with the entire tire setup). Also, really hoping to not use spacers. But I’m hear to learn, so let’s hear it. Thanks in advance!

Kenda has new new tall skinny tires, 33X9.50R15LT, that will fit stock rims. No trouble with rubbing with these.

Or go with 70-Series Land Cruiser wheels and run something similar.

Thanks @4Cruisers

Would you or anyone have any opinions for or against Ironman or ProComp tires? I’ve seen quite a few people running procomp, but didn’t know if Ironman was of a good quality. Price is nice though lol

I've been running BFG almost exclusively for about 35 years now, I don't know much about other brands.

Not just LC's, but I don't recommend any wheel wider than 8" without bead locks. With your lift, 33's are about max and work well with stock gearing. Any tire wider than 11" on aftermarket wheels will probably rub somewhere, but 9.5 should not just fit great, but perform best in most situations. Good choice.

Awesome. Thanks, that’s reassuring! I’ll make sure to look into the bead locks.

Does anyone recognize these wheels? They look steel and similar to the 70 series wheels but have additional stamping. I'm guessing non-NA

Hey guys posting to try to identify these, I couldn't get in touch with the seller on BaT when it was listed

Look like some sort of American Racing 15", anyone seen these? I'd like to run 33x10.5s like the picture, I've got 33x12.5s on mine but need to go skinnier to pass inspection and hate the look of the ones on mine.

Try ordering online in increments of 2+2 and then 1. Sometimes you can get free shipping like that with certain dealers.
