Greets,

I'm coming down from the Northeast over the holidays to visit a friend who recently moved to Austin. We both have FJC's and were looking for some legal trails to wheel around on.

If someone could point us in the right direction or wants to hang around with a couple of Yankees lost in Texas, we'd appreciate the company.

Our trucks are similar builds, 33" MT tires, skid plates, winch, sliders, recovery gear, etc. so we should be able to handle intermediate and up. We're also TLCA members  and we are fans of Tread Lightly.

Looking forward to meeting some TX folks!!

Let us know when you are down, we will organize one of our famous "Cruiserhead" lunches and get you some real Texas BBQ! As for wheeling locally, there is none, but about 45 min away there is a nice park, I'll post up some info after dinner.

:whoops: I should have posted some dates!

I'll be in town from the 22nd - 29th (give or take a day either way cuz I'm driving down from CT!!)

Texas BBQ, I suspect I'll be needing to adjust the tilt wheel to get myself back in the cab ;)

We are going to hidden falls, the park mark was talking about on january 2nd. If you were to stay a few extra days you could tag along:) There are no open trails in the area, Hidden Falls is gonna be your best bet.

What's the scoop on Trees Ranch? The web site is borked so I couldn't get much info.
Exotic game farm & offroad park? Do I get to stand on my roof rack and feed the giraffes?
