Short notice I know but I am doing a pre-trip this Saturday and one of my other friends wants to spend the whole weekend wheeling and camping. So for anyone who is interested let me know. We are planning on doing technical trails with very little mud but some decent hill climbs as well as large washouts to straddle. This trail is fairly technical so come on lets get some Cruisers out and about. Your welcome to come and camp for the weekend.

I would, but I'm already headed to Ruby Lake with some from Calgary and Ft. St. John. Too bad it's the same weekend. :frown:

I am sure we can get together and run out in the Rocky area again soon. Maybe get one in before the snow.

I'd love to, and I'm sure with a bit of lead in time, we can get a few trucks down there.

How was the weekend for you guys John? We had an absolute blast on Ruby Creek. Great to see the look on quaders' faces when we came plodding along with a couple of near stock trucks :grinpimp: I think Charla's going to fire up a photo thread in the Swamp Donkey section when she has a chance. A couple of my pics:

Awesome pics. Did that 80 series have a Cummins swapped into it? My weekend was good piled a rear LH brake. Some how the e brake stuck on one side I went forward then back to release it and when it released it damaged something and now I am leaking brake fluid. Something to take apart tomorrow I guess.

Yah, that's Cody's 80 with the cummins. Looks real trick in there :)

Link to my photos from the weekend. I'm waiting to see photos from someone else. The 62 did a passable impression of a submarine, but of course I was too busy to get pics myself. 45 min later, after pulling the plugs to ensure it hadn't hydrolocked, we were back on our way.

Here are my pics from the weekend. Less mud then your trip which is what I like. Mud is bad haha. You have got some good pics though. Where abouts is Ruby Creek on the forestry trunk road? Not the trails itself just the creek no trail heads over the internet haha.

PM sent.
Looks like you guys had a nice area too. Did you get a new bumper for your Taco?
