Sugar Creek Trails

I posted about sugar creek trails here before.

I received this email the other day and just happened up on it this morning:

Hey,
I am sorry for not getting back to you till now, I am just a friend of the owners of Sugar Creek, as well as huge fans. I have gotten way behind on manning this screen name and I apologize.
the Creek is an awesome place to ride. They now allow 4-wheel drive vehicles in the creek as well as up top. this is new.
please call Austin or Liz Tate @ 901-835-3691
Be advise that right now the creak may be closed because due to the massive amounts of rain the past few days. I don't know this I am just guessing, from prior knowledge that sometimes after heavy rains its more fun to ride the creak in a raft! LOL

It will probably be dried out by mid june. Maybe we could plan a weekend ride sometime.

Sounds good, I'll drive there.

(but need a seat to ride in!)

Close to Randi's family's place...we could probably cook some food out over there and then do some wheeling...could be a good weekend.

How about this next weekend, the 20-22nd? Would that work?

I'm out of town until June...but, you guys go knock it out and let me know how it is.

- Mark

Sure, let me borrow your truck ;)

Just kidding :flipoff2: We'll go out wheeling when you get back. In fact, it'll probably be better if we wait until June, just in case it's flooded right now.

Nah, I don't have the spare vacation or money to go, plus no rig. I'll make it there one of these years with my own truck, eventually.

Probably not. I'm thinking this is low rent operation. It is just shy of 300 acres and I am thinking there are limited trails for our trucks since it is quad country. We could always bring our chainsaws. There are a few videos on youtube.

If I can get the exhaust fixed on my truck so it's not straight piped anymore, I may be able to make it. I can drive okay and I can move around okay on flat ground; if I was to get stuck on anything uneven or muddy, I'd have to have someone else do the "footwork" for me.
