Can't say about all models but my
3rd gen 4Runners(96-02) and similar style tacos up through 04 had 16 inch most commonly on the 4x4 models.some had 15's on them though
My 05 Tundra had 16 inch wheels on it..so I would think 06 back to 01 was it with that body style?? 2 wheel drive may have had smaller but not always.

3rd gen 4runners never came with 16x8s.
Try LX450s or TLC wheels.

Yea - most of the 16" Tacoma, 4Runner, and Tundra wheels were 16x7 or so. I think one of the FJC wheels is a 16x7.5 (but it might be a 17x7.5). Only the 93-97 Land Cruiser alloy wheel is a true 16x8.
