Wheel Question?

Did the 98 and 99 come with 16X8 wheels like the FZJ-80 and then in 00 the 100 went to bigger wheels or has it always had bigger rims than the 80?

I think they started out with 16" but maybe they were already 5 bolts, I forgot.
Then later went to 17" with 18 optional, and now 18 is standard I think.
Going by memory so likely wrong... anyway...

You are right they started out at 16's; with the different bolt pattern from day one.

I didn't see a major difference in mileage between our 80 and 100 actually.

I would say I got about 1mpg more with the 100 than the 80. Not much but not bad considering the 100 weighs 500 lbs more and has a lot more usable torque.
