So after a few days of heavy wheeling I got home, and noticed a heavy leak from my driver's side rack and pinion billow. It's my knowledge that billows are not filled with fluid, rather, prevent dust and weather damaging the R&P. I had another person shake my steering wheel to see if there are any other obvious issues. I found the R&P mount bushings sloppy and that the rack was moving ½ inch one way to another.
Also I believe i had an alignment tech mention a few years ago one of my inner tie rods needing to be replaced to get the alignment dialed in further.
With all this knowledge would you replace inner tie rods, billows, and poly R&P bushings, or replace the entire R&P assembly(possibly upgrade to poly bushings)?
