Hello all
I recently purchased my second FJ40. It's a 1967 that has had major suspension mods. bottom line is it has a Dana 44 front axle on springs with a 4 point support. Also Bilstein shocks. Currently the guy took of the bead locks and put the 40" tires on a allow center lined Mickey Thompson rims before he sold it (to me). so i get rubbing on the support arm that goes from the axle to the frame on a sharp turn at the inside back of the tire. I'm thinking ! need a -3.5inch bead lock rim to get the correct clearance. size of tires are 40" x 17" x 9" rim.
anyone run across this before? I wanna make sure i get the right rim.
thanks in advance, Chris
