United is having their annual "Wheel-In" event at the Snowshoe resort in West Virginia this year.

This would be fun, but over a 13hr drive from here in a Saab the last time I was there. Excellent ski resort for the east coast

Saabs are slow ???

Andrew, your Saab must be slow. :flipoff2:

It's 385 miles from Roswell and Google says a bit over 9 hours. :steer:

Yes, it is out of state, but so is most everything these days. It's "new dirt".

Maybe I was carrying too much stuff as usual. :D
From what I remember, the back roads were the killer. When I map it, it is 554 miles and 10 hrs.
The drive up to the mountain took about 20 minutes. The resort is on top of the mountain and has restaurants, etc. and the inn is at the bottom of the mountain AKA the base of the mountain.

Would love to know what trails they run as there would be some excellent scenery and hill climbs if you go all over the mountain.
