I'm just checking to see if I got a fair deal from my local Toyota dealership.

Transmission flush ~ $150
Labor for passenger and drivers side wheel bearings (inner and outer), replace drivers side cv axle ~$550

What do you think?

I know I should have done it myself but have no time now. The front shake is gone on my 160k miles 99 though.

Labor for the front end stuff sounds a little high. I had both cv's rebooted and bearings repacked with parts for around $700

The bearing repack is not that hard, you should give it a try.

I'm sure it's not and I have no doubt I could do it. My problem is time or lack there of. I just don't have the time to be in the garage right now. I chose to have it done because my rig had an awful vibration from the front. The bearings or the cv axle fixed it. I just felt like I overpaid for the whole thing.

Totally understand...Glad you got it fixed.

it only feels like you overpaid because if you had the time, you would have done it for the cost of the parts only. Time is very valuable.

X2^^^
Did it fix the problem? If so, then it was worth it. The price seems a little high, but its done. You'll get the chance to do it yourself in another 30k miles!

Watch for that adjuster nut working it's way loose. That could have been your original vibration. Even when the tabs on the star washer are bent over, they could be bent in a spot that will still let that nut back off a little.
