Hello, Im considering moto metal wheels for a 2010 FJ Cruiser. I want to put on 285 70r 17 tires so Im looking at 17 x 9 wheels. I'm not sure what backspacing I will need so if these numbers aren't what I need could you please tell me what to look for? Thank you. 4.53 inch backspacing
offset 12 mm
6 on 5.5 bolt pattern

I'm not 100% but I think the backspacing on the stock wheels is 4.5"!! someone will let me know if I'm wrong!!

I know the guys in the 80 series section know this one!!

Depends on which "stock" wheel. Between 4 1/2 and 4 5/8 but be careful of the back shape of the wheel. Some wheels with "stock" backspacing will still hit the brake calipers on the front. I'd suggest a test fit first, just to be safe...

Thank you guys, these are aftermarket wheels (moto metal) so I won't be able to see about hitting the caliper until I get them if I get them. Would wheel spacers help? Steve

Odds are you will be fine. Most issues are with 16" wheels.

Of course spacers will help by pushing the wheels out. I'd get them, test fit them then decide if you need spacers. No need to add them if you don't need to unless you just want to increase your track width...
