Is there any adaptors that can make a 5 lugs to 6 lugs . I can get some sweet 17" wheels with nice tires for free but they are 6 lugs. (06 Secoia). If there is, will it have an adverse effect on the 100?

I would imagine any adaptor shop could make you one (don't know about stud location but should be OK), but it will probably be at least 1" thick. Then your wheels get moved out. Now you have to wonder about effect on bearings and possible rubbing. You also need to check carefully the diameter of the center hole, backspacing, etc.

I would venture to guess that you may be able to get another wheel (new steelie or used alloy) cheaper than the adaptor will be.

search for wheel adapters for hoser's and my posts on our wheel adapters. you have to run atleast 7/8" thick adapter unless you want to shave your studs--this is for LC wheels, btw; i dont know if the back of the Sequoia wheels are any different. because our hubs and bolt pattern are so large, and so uncommon, the adapters must be custom which means $$. but free wheels and tires are nice too.

slee converted his rear axle to 6 lug on his blue beast, but i believe he did a true conversion and didnt use adapters.

and how did the sequoia get 6 lug and we have 5?

Thanks for the info...looks like getting set of 5 lugs wheels will be cheaper and less trouble

All the other toyota's got 6 lugs except LC and LX...I guess we are special:) Now 07 tundra also comes with 5 lugs

Most 6 lug Toyota wheels have a zero or near zero offset. The LC100 wheels have a 60mm offset and using a wheel adapter would even worsen the difference.
