What's the plan for Tuttle on the 26th???

Yeah I know, party pooper. I also have a difficult time justifying breaking up a nice three day weekend for one day of wheeling. Tuttle just isn't big enough to keep my attention for more than one day. I wish KS Rocks was slightly more wagon friendly so there was more terrain to play on.

I want to go so badly but I'm just not sure I'll have time this weekend.

I might try to escape for Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.

* keeping my fingers crossed *

Not shure if ya'll heard, but last week they was sayin stay home Tuttle is 25' high. Boat ramps under water. Someone might wanna call.
Perhaps we might go up Labor Day weekend. Wer'nt busy hardly at all last year. Chris was the only TAC'r made it last year.

C Ya, Don

Meetcha there next weekend...???
That might just work out great. I'll see if my bud with the Bronco II wants to come with.

Everything is up in the air, but if I schedule now I'll probably be cool.

I'm out!

Can't make it, issues just came up that are out of my control. Those that are going have a good time, and take some pics.

Maybe us non-conformers should start another thread for the weekend of June 2nd? Wait I started this thread so I can kinda do whatever.

How 'bout some of the KC crowd stepping up for next weekend? I'd mention names but I'd make a bigger ass of myself than normal.

Chris, the 40 is feeling rather lonely sitting in the shop and I have your hitch too.

You b*s*a*d!!! I know it is, but...

PM me with your cell phone number as I may be heading out to Hutchinson tomorrow and could swing by to pick it up.

If ya'll want to go wheeling on the 2nd, why not come down to Hot Springs for the Ramble? High water at Tuttle won't be an issue.

I could shoot for June 2nd, that sounds more plausible.

Could be heading to Hays for this weekend. It'll give me a chance to do some "wheelin" on some old oil field service roads I found on Google Earth :D . I know there has to be some good wheelin in the Saline river valley somewhere, its just too cool to not have it.

Don't worry, they are public county roads too, its just that no one ever uses them any more.

I mean, there's gotta be something good out there, right?

Because it's 8 hours of driving.

I really want to go to this years CMCC back in PA but at $3.25+ per gal. it's $1000 for the round trip in gas without getting on the trail or visiting family. Wheeling is becoming and economics issue.

Hays? Haysville Ks.? Just wondering where the heck all that land is around here? I've been searching Google Earth and havnt seen that area. Could you please expound on your findings? I live 10 minutes from Haysville since we can't make it to Tuttle this weekend maybe the wife and I can run down there if it's not to far.

Thnx in advance,

Jeremy

Sorry, its near Hays, KS (about 1 1/2 hrs west of Salina on I-70).

I can email you the Google Earth KMZ files if you want. Just PM me your email address.

If you're interested in backroads you might check with these guys. That's what they do, I know several of them are from Wichita.

Razorback was great last year! I have been on the road for 2-3 weeks and I have more trips coming...so I am out. If you can afford the long drive, it is a great place to wheel. I saw in a magazine that it was rated one of the best ORV parks in the nation. I will be at Tuttle on Saturday...we are still going????? I also plan on attending the Ashers for at least a day. Do they have room for my RV????? I am trying to spend at least 2 nights at Flat and Nasty, but it is so far off I am afraid to get my hopes up!

A good chance of rain all weekend. that being said I'm still going. My folks and my bro are traveling a long way so We'll make the best of it...

Matt...call me at work today and give me your phone number('s). I left my cell at home, but work is 800-654-6117. For future reference, my cell is 785-218-9280. Thanks Craig

Have fun I'm out visiting my 94year old grandfather this weekend.. Not too many chances to do that anymore and his stories are better than your alls! You all staying the whole weekend? or just saturday? If the whole weekend I'll swing by for a beer on my way back on sunday evening. Maybe..

My folks are coming down tonight...Mike my bro is in-route right now and I hope to get on the road by 3-4...we are staying until monday assuming the rains are light. If we get rained out we'll head down to osage for an imprompto wrench weekend... The point is I finally have permision to be gone for the weekend and by gawd I'm going to "be gone"...:D

Jayhawk is coming up for the day saturday weather permiting.

I might be able to come up either Saturday or Sunday for a short while. Not 100% sure yet but going to try.

Saturday was great! Just ask Matt....my 60 is part sub! I took it to the car wash Sunday and there was grass hanging off the plug wires and mud about 1/4" thick on TOP of the battery! There were some good trails left, but the bottoms were completely under water. Craig
